Description
The Laboratory of Islet Isolation and Transplantation (LITC) is hiring two permanent Biologists to support clinical islet preparation and transplantation, BPF/cGMP laboratory operations, quality control, traceability, and translational research. The role includes donor and pancreas verification, organ handling, enzymatic perfusion, digestion, harvesting, purification, counting, culture, documentation, on-call participation, and supervision of students and interns. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant biological or biomedical science field, research experience, strong English skills, and availability for on-call work; a master’s degree or PhD is an asset, as is prior experience isolating human pancreatic islets in a BPF/cGMP environment.
