Schrödinger is hiring a Scientific Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to build and test scalable software for ML virtual screening pipelines that integrate machine learning with physics-based backends such as docking and free energy perturbation. The role collaborates with research scientists to adapt workflows for new discovery cases, develop new methodologies, and benchmark novel ML approaches for improving hit-discovery accuracy. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, one to three years of production-level software development experience, prior ML knowledge, Python proficiency, and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch. The role offers an estimated base salary of $130,000 to $160,000, equity-based compensation, healthcare with dental and vision, and other benefits.
