The Weizenbaum Institute is hiring a Scientific Project Lead / Postdoctoral Researcher to coordinate and conduct research on political polarization on digital platforms, with a focus on TikTok and YouTube, political communication, and democratic attitudes. The role involves project coordination, research design, data access and management, analysis, publication, scientific guidance, and policy communication. It is a full-time fixed-term position of approximately four years in Berlin, with mobile work and flexible hours. Applicants need a completed doctorate, German C2 or comparable proficiency, excellent English, research and publication experience, and expertise in relevant social-science or platform-research areas.
