Axle is hiring a Scientist to support the Laboratory of Malaria Immunology and Vaccinology within the NIAID Division of Intramural Research. The role plans and executes malaria entomology research, develops techniques and protocols, analyzes data, collaborates with NIH and external research teams, and prepares reports and manuscripts. Candidates need a science-related bachelor's degree, at least five years of laboratory experience in malaria entomology, parasite culturing, insectary operation, mosquito rearing, infection, and direct skin-feeding assays, plus recombinant protein expression and purification experience. The position offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement, and other benefits, with a base salary of $100,000–$110,000 USD.
