Description
The Research and Product Development Scientist develops, plans, and executes experiments and analyzes data to advance research, feasibility, and product development projects. The role may supervise direct reports and interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot experiments, prepare laboratory records, conduct literature and market research, support patent and grant activities, and communicate findings. It requires strong scientific and statistical fundamentals, laboratory experience, and leadership ability; a Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, while a master’s or bachelor’s degree may be considered with substantial relevant research or development experience. The position is based in a laboratory environment and offers an annual base salary of $101,400 to $154,700 plus potential bonuses and benefits.
