AbbVie Biotherapeutics and Genetic Medicine is hiring a Protein Expression Scientist to support large-scale mammalian expression of complex multi-specific biologics. The role focuses on CHO cell line engineering, stable cell line generation, process development and optimization, molecular and biophysical characterization, automation, data digitization, and troubleshooting of expression, stability, glycosylation, aggregation, and chain-pairing challenges. Applicants need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant life or chemical science field and experience with CHO cell culture, multi-specific protein expression, stable cell line generation, process development, and automation.
