UCB is hiring a Scientist II for its Gene Therapy Vector Core group to support AAV gene therapy platform development and genetic medicine projects. The role focuses on developing and optimizing molecular and cell-based analytical methods, including ddPCR, qPCR, short- and long-read NGS, and cell-based potency assays, while also supporting characterization of research-grade materials and process development. The position requires an MS or PhD/postdoc with substantial experience in PCR, NGS, AAV characterization, and multidisciplinary drug discovery teams, and offers a base salary of $99,200 to $130,200 per year with a hybrid-first work arrangement.
