Description
USP is hiring a Scientist IV to support the process development and scale-up of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and related materials. The role performs analytical method development and validation, routine and non-routine testing, reaction monitoring, stability studies, instrument qualification, SOP and protocol preparation, vendor coordination, and GLP and safety activities. The Scientist IV will independently troubleshoot complex projects, collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams, and contribute to ISO-9001 certification and QA audits. The position requires an analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, or pharmacy degree with 8–10 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. with 4–7 years of experience, along with hands-on experience with chemical methods and instruments such as HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, FTIR, UV-Visible, and wet chemistry.
