AbbVie is hiring a Scientist I for its Respiratory Discovery team at the Cambridge Research Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The role supports the identification and validation of novel therapeutics for inflammatory lung diseases by developing and maintaining preclinical in vitro and in vivo models, performing sterile cell culture, analyzing human and animal tissues, and using flow cytometry, quantitative PCR, ELISA, MSD, multiplex assays, and Western blotting. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with typically five years of experience or a master’s degree with typically two years of experience, prior hands-on experience with primary innate and adaptive immune cells, and strong laboratory, analytical, and teamwork skills.
