BD is hiring a Scientist/Manager for its Single Cell Multiomics team to lead assay-product development from feasibility through optimization, verification, validation, and technology transfer. The role partners with commercial, engineering, bioinformatics, quality, and operations teams; supports manufacturing specifications, SOPs, and QC protocols; maintains quality for launched products; performs hands-on experiments; and builds a collaborative team. Candidates need a doctoral degree in a relevant life-science field, at least 8 years of research experience including 5 years in industry, and extensive RNA-seq and next-generation sequencing experience. The position is based in Milpitas, California, with a stated annual salary range of $137,500 to $220,100 USD.
