Description

The Product Development Scientist leads new product development from concept through launch, translating consumer insights into scalable food products using food science principles. The role also maintains the existing product portfolio, supports quality and continuous improvement, develops prototypes through benchtop and full-scale production, collaborates with R&D and cross-functional teams, documents projects, and applies pilot-plant and scale-up expertise. A bachelor’s degree in food science, chemical engineering, or a related technical field and 1–2 years of industry experience are required; advanced degrees, food product development or culinary experience, food science knowledge, communication skills, and cross-functional teamwork are preferred. The position offers a base salary of USD 79,280 to USD 109,010, medical and dental benefits, a company bonus, 401k participation, and paid time off, with no visa sponsorship or relocation benefits.
