CMRE is hiring a Quantum Science and Technology Researcher to investigate quantum science and technology impacts on NATO maritime capabilities, develop security scenarios, conduct quantum optics and photonics research, author scientific publications, and participate in NATO workshops and projects. The role is based in the office, laboratory, workshop, or on-board Centre ships in La Spezia, Italy, and requires an MSc or PhD in a relevant technical field plus the specified post-degree experience, a fit-for-sea certificate, and NATO language proficiency. The position offers a three-year renewable contract, a monthly EUR 5,879.80 salary, and NATO employment benefits.
