L3Harris is hiring a Software Lead in Carlsbad, California, to provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, integration, verification, release support, risk management, and defect resolution. The role leads software engineers, coordinates with systems engineering, test, quality, cybersecurity, and program management teams, mentors junior engineers, and supports proposal and technical planning efforts. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field with at least 12 years of prior relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 10 years of related experience, or 16 years of related experience without a degree. The schedule is 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off, and the salary range is $161,500 to $257,000.
