Description
The Scope Processing Technician II decontaminates and reprocesses endoscopes and related medical equipment using manufacturer guidelines and automated endoscopic reprocessors, monitors chemical systems, maintains a clean and stocked reprocessing area, documents work, and supports staff training and quality-improvement activities. The role requires high school or equivalent education, specialized surgical technology or sterile processing training, two to three years of experience in an operating room, sterile processing department, or gastrointestinal environment, sterile processing certification, and applicable fire and life-safety training. The position pays $27.45 to $46.68 per hour.
