Description
The Screw Machine Manufacturing Engineer develops, implements, and optimizes manufacturing processes for Acme-Gridley and Davenport multi-spindle automatic screw machines. The role designs tooling and machine setups, determines cutting parameters and cycle times, troubleshoots machining and tooling issues, supports new product introductions and production startups, and leads continuous-improvement initiatives. The position requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, 8–10 years of hands-on screw-machine setup, operation, and engineering experience, process improvement skills, blueprint and mechanical-gearing knowledge, tool-setting proficiency, shop-math ability, and SolidWorks or similar engineering-design software proficiency.
