Amazon LEO is hiring a Software Defined Network (SDN) Controller Engineer to design, implement, and operate the control plane for a global low-latency satellite and terrestrial network. The role focuses on scalable network architecture, on-orbit payload orchestration, highly available control-plane software, automation, routing and forwarding diagnostics, and integration of telemetry and network-condition data. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and programming experience; the position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
