Chromalloy is hiring a Machinist for a 3rd-shift schedule from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The role operates and programs CNC and manual machine tools, including grinding and milling, to fabricate and repair precision aircraft-engine and gas-turbine components. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, applying GD&T, inspecting parts with precision measuring instruments, setting up fixtures and tools, adjusting machine parameters, performing maintenance, operating overhead cranes, and maintaining production records. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant machining certifications, and experience with CNC, grinding, milling, or surface-grinding equipment; trade-school certification is preferred. The role is limited to U.S. persons and requires background investigation and drug-screening conditions.
