Description
Skidmore College is hiring a Seasonal Reader to review college admissions applications in partnership with admission counselors. The role analyzes academic credentials, recommendations, personal essays, and other application documents; provides summary evaluations and decision recommendations; and participates in Admission Committee reviews. The seasonal schedule is approximately 17–24 hours per week during early December, January, and February, with possible committee work in early March, conducted remotely during regular weekday hours. Candidates must be located in New York or Massachusetts, have a bachelor's degree, strong reading, writing, assessment, and computer skills, and complete 7–14 hours of reader training in the fall. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.
