The Museum Security Officer is a part-time seasonal role from August through mid-January, working outdoors and indoors in gardens, festivals, and museum grounds. The position involves guest interaction, safety and security patrols, incident reporting, emergency response, and maintaining fire pits and warming stations. It pays $14.00 per hour and requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, security training, customer-service experience, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
