Description
The Mechanical Aircraft Seat Design Lead leads the design, development, substantiation, and validation of commercial aircraft seating systems for production, retrofit, and product-development programs. The role serves as design authority, performs engineering analyses and design reviews, leads up to six Seat Design Engineers, defines project scope and schedules, approves engineering packages, and supports manufacturing, supply chain, and in-service activities. The position requires a mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering degree with 8+ years of experience or equivalent aerospace experience, along with advanced seat-design knowledge and proficiency with CATIA V5 or higher and/or SolidWorks.
