Description
The Second Engineer will support the Chief Engineer and Master in operating, maintaining, and monitoring the main and auxiliary machinery, ballast systems, fuel and lubricating oil, emergency equipment, and other engine-room systems. The role includes engineering watchkeeping, planned and emergency repairs, safety and environmental compliance, maintenance records, oil and water monitoring, and coordination with deck and shore-based personnel. It is a seagoing position with rotational deployments, requiring STCW certification, medical fitness, and at least 12 months of experience in a rank or similar vessel.
