Description
KBR is hiring an Advanced Program Support Technician for its second shift to support the SPACE SUIT DESIGN TEAM in the Science and Space division. The role manufactures, assembles, tests, repairs, and maintains aerospace flight hardware, including Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) suits and components, EVA tools, crew aids, ancillary equipment, and subsystems. Responsibilities include operating 3D printers, RF welders, fabric lasers, wheel cutters, and low-pressure air systems; performing functional testing; diagnosing anomalies; reading engineering drawings and work authorizing documents; maintaining databases; and transporting hardware. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED, at least five years of related experience, a Class III physical, clean-room and controlled-work-area training, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to work in a team environment.
