Description
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor oversees a maintenance shop and technician team responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of a fleet, heavy equipment, containers, and other post-collection facility machinery. The role directs and coaches technicians, plans and schedules repairs, performs quality-control inspections, oversees diagnostics and complex repairs, manages inventory and expenses, and handles payroll, records, budgets, and performance evaluations. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, ASE certifications including T2 Diesel Engine and T Master Certified, and at least three years of heavy-equipment maintenance experience plus one year of supervisory experience.
