Description
Wiltshire Council is hiring an experienced Section 19 Manager to lead statutory education services for children unable to attend school due to illness, exclusion, or other circumstances. The role provides strategic and operational leadership, manages Section 19/Children Absent from Education Coordinators, chairs multi-agency panels, oversees complex case management and alternative provision, and leads service improvement, performance management, budget oversight, policy development, and reporting. The position pays £47,665–£49,817 per annum for 37 hours per week, with an interview scheduled for Thursday 15 October 2026, and follows a hybrid working model.
