The NYC Department of Environmental Protection is hiring an Administrative Engineer NM-1 to serve as Section Chief for the Bureau of Water Supply’s Regulatory and Engineering Programs Division in Kingston, New York. The role directs and manages technical and administrative staff, oversees stormwater and wastewater compliance, WRR enforcement, legal proceedings, contracts, budgets, source-water protection strategies, and watershed-stakeholder coordination. It requires a New York State Professional Engineer license and six years of relevant engineering or plan-examining experience, including two years in an executive, managerial, or administrative capacity. The position is 35 hours per week and may require night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
