Description
The Airport Security Officer provides security services to airlines and other entities at an airport, including guarding assigned gates and jet bridges, securing baggage carts and aircraft, counting and scanning baggage, searching aircraft for unauthorized items, and reporting irregularities. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, strong customer service and communication skills, and eligibility for a CBP seal and airport ID. It is full-time or part-time, with varied shifts and possible exposure to extreme temperatures.
