Description
The Store Security Officer patrols and monitors a retail store and its surroundings, responds to criminal activity and disorder, controls access, monitors surveillance, handles crises, and provides customer service. The full-time position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, background checks, CPR or first aid training, and Basic Security Certification, with law enforcement or private security experience preferred. The role involves standing and walking for long periods, working inside and outside the store, and working flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
