Description
Powerhouse Arts is hiring a part-time Security and Safety Associate to serve as a Fire Life Safety Director (FLSD) and represent the organization at the Security Desk. The role monitors fire alarms and CCTV, conducts fire safety inspections and drills, coordinates with first responders, maintains safety records, and communicates with staff, guests, and emergency services. The position reports to the Security and Safety Administrator and requires an FLSD license, NYS security guard license, FDNY F89/T89/Z89 certification, and required training certificates. Compensation is $25–$28 per hour, with Sunday shifts from 4 p.m. to midnight and flexible availability between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., 4 p.m. and midnight, and midnight and 8 a.m.
