Description
The Security and Special Events Manager oversees control room and floor operations during special events and regular business hours, manages the museum’s protection services team, schedules guards, conducts security training, investigates incidents, supports hiring and disciplinary processes, and serves as a primary contact for visitor service and building safety issues. The role requires an associate degree or three to five years of related experience, First Aid and CPR certification, knowledge of alarm, fire, and video surveillance systems, and availability for nights and weekends. The position offers an annual salary of $60,000 for 40 hours per week and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, and other benefits.
