Description
August Schell is seeking a Security Architect to support anticipated federal cybersecurity initiatives. The role is remote and involves designing enterprise and system-level security architectures, translating federal requirements into technical controls, aligning with NIST RMF and FISMA, integrating security across cloud and on-premises environments, leading architecture and risk-mitigation decisions, and evaluating system security posture. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance, be able to obtain a Q clearance, hold U.S. citizenship, and have at least five years of relevant cybersecurity or security architecture experience; a bachelor's degree in a related field is required. The anticipated compensation range is $95,000 to $160,000 based on experience, and the position is contingent on a future contract award.
