JD Sports is seeking an Assistant Security Controller to monitor 24-hour gyms and assist the Controller with alarm and CCTV monitoring across JD Sports sites. The role handles alarm activations, stakeholder and police/fire liaison, intruder-alarm technical support, CCTV issue reporting, nightly incident reports, fault escalation, identity checks, weekly checks, GDPR-compliant footage production, and other security-related activities. Experience in the security industry or an Alarm Receiving Centre is essential, along with health and safety, computer literacy, teamwork, communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
