UNICEF is hiring a temporary Security Associate (G-6) in Afghanistan to provide technical, operational, and administrative support to the Security Officer in implementing security management measures that protect personnel, eligible family members, premises, assets, and UNICEF operations. The role involves security planning, monitoring the local security environment, coordinating protective measures, liaising with security stakeholders, supporting contingency and emergency preparedness activities, and contributing to security training, knowledge management, and capacity building. The position is based in Jalalabad with reference to Kandahar as well, and requires significant experience in security-related environments plus secondary education and relevant technical/security or related courses.
