Description
The role is responsible for designing, building, and scaling security infrastructure across systems, networks, endpoints, products, and data; owning security architecture; developing detection, monitoring, and incident-response capabilities; establishing security controls and processes; integrating security into the software development lifecycle; managing vulnerabilities and risk assessments; leading security education; and temporarily owning IT infrastructure. The position requires software engineering and infrastructure skills, extensive experience operating security infrastructure, knowledge of modern security domains, production and cloud experience, and the ability to lead or mentor security teams while remaining hands-on.
