Description

Turner & Townsend is recruiting Associate Director and Project Director-level professionals to support UK defence clients in transforming project, programme, and portfolio management through digital solutions. The role involves assessing client requirements, implementing P3M methodologies and data systems, leading technology suppliers and digital implementation teams, supporting secure and regulated environments, improving governance and assurance, and contributing to advisory services, bids, and stakeholder engagement. Candidates must be sole UK nationals eligible for security clearance, with relevant defence, project controls, capital programme, and P3M experience; APM, PMI, or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience on major capital programmes or large portfolios in the defence sector
Experience establishing or transforming project ways of working integrating P3M disciplines and enterprise functions
Experience working within the UK Defence sector, including MoD organisations and/or Tier 1 suppliers
Experience working in secure or regulated environments
Experience defining or refining project structures integrating asset, work, resource, schedule, cost, and risk information
Experience translating client methodologies into supply chain requirements and contract scope
Experience specifying or implementing project controls or P3M technology
Experience establishing or changing business capabilities
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with UK Ministry of Defence organisations, Tier 1 suppliers, or consultancies
Understanding of defence acquisition processes, governance, and assurance frameworks
APM, PMI, or similar certification or equivalent experience
