The direct client is hiring a Security Consultant for a fully remote, W2 contract assignment lasting up to 12 months with possible extension in Columbia, South Carolina. The role requires extensive experience implementing and supporting enterprise security tools, supporting large IT environments and system deployments, and developing automation and integrations with Python and Bash. Preferred qualifications include CISSP or Security+ certification, SIEM administration and reporting, Linux-based security sensor deployment, and knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
