Description
VIATEQ is hiring a Security Control Assessor to independently assess and report on security and privacy controls across a federal government client's enterprise IT portfolio, including on-premises, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS systems. The role supports NIST SP 800-53 and SP 800-53A assessments, RMF and Ongoing Authorization activities, ISSO collaboration, audits, continuous monitoring, and documentation deliverables. Primary work is at the client site in Washington, DC, with approved remote or telework locations, and requires a bachelor's degree, at least five years of federal information security experience, relevant assessment experience, and MBI or higher background investigation eligibility. Compensation is $100,000–$130,000, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
