KoBold Metals is hiring a full-time contract Security Coordinator to lead security operations at its exploration or development site in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role manages access control, patrols, surveillance, guard forces, emergency response, risk intelligence, incident investigations, community and law-enforcement coordination, security training, compliance, budgets, and reporting. Candidates need at least eight years of professional security experience in high-risk environments, mining or infrastructure experience in Africa, leadership experience with guard forces and contractors, a relevant degree or equivalent, French, English, and Swahili communication skills, and a valid manual driver’s license. The position requires the candidate to be a resident of Manono or willing to relocate there, and applications are limited to Congolese nationals.
