Description
Upwind is hiring a Security Engineer for its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team as the founding U.S. member of the Security organization. The role focuses on detection engineering, proactive cloud-security reviews, advanced customer guidance, complex incident response, threat investigations, playbook development, and collaboration with analysts, researchers, and backend engineers. The engineer will independently own U.S.-hours coverage, participate in an on-call rotation, contribute to AI-driven detection models, and work on-site in Boston or San Francisco.
