Description

GXA is hiring a hands-on Security Engineer to operate and improve its gShield security services across client and internal environments. The role is a Tier 3 escalation point responsible for incident response, alert and SIEM operations, security tool administration, infrastructure and identity security, vulnerability remediation, client delivery support, internal security initiatives, and technical documentation. The engineer must troubleshoot across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure, including endpoints, servers, networks, identity, and cloud services, while coordinating with SOC, infrastructure, leadership, vendors, and clients.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5–7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure engineering, network engineering, or security operations
Hands-on experience in security engineering, threat detection, security operations, incident investigation, or incident response
Preferred Qualifications: MSP, MSSP, or multi-client environment experience
Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, AppLocker, ThreatLocker, and RMM automation
Azure security and infrastructure; AWS or other cloud experience
CIS benchmarks, security hardening, Zero Trust, and configuration drift monitoring
Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, GCIH, or GCIA
