Rain is hiring an Application Security Engineer to serve as the company’s application security expert for non-blockchain systems. The role reviews and triages red-team findings, hardens backend services and APIs, manages edge defenses, establishes secure cloud and code baselines, improves pull-request security gates, covers attack surfaces, conducts architecture reviews, and evaluates security tools. The position requires at least four years of application, product, or security-minded backend engineering experience, familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js and cloud security, and the ability to make senior-level security decisions.
