Description
Amazon is hiring a Security Engineer for its Customer Service Application Security team in Seattle, Washington. The role partners with development teams to embed security early in the software development lifecycle, reviews application designs, provides secure-coding guidance, builds automated security guardrails and paved paths, conducts threat modeling and architecture evaluations, and contributes code for security fixes. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, at least three years of programming experience in a listed object-oriented language, and knowledge of networking protocols. AWS experience, threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, cryptography, system administration, network security, security-risk mitigation, and large-language-model automation are preferred. The base salary is 159,300–202,400 USD annually, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
