Amazon Photos is hiring a Security Engineer to lead security architecture, threat modeling, automation, incident response, risk management, compliance, and security engineering across mobile, TV, voice-activated, backend, and AI services. The role reports directly to senior leadership, collaborates with development and DigiSec teams, mentors junior engineers, and helps establish the security team’s culture and technical foundations. Candidates need substantial experience in security risk identification, mitigation, scripting, programming, code review, systems troubleshooting, and security automation, along with knowledge of at least two common programming languages. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 178,400 to 226,700 USD annually.
