Description
The Security Engineer will build detection mechanisms, automate remediation, conduct threat hunting, and perform network and systems forensics, malware and indicator analysis, and incident response. The role also involves designing security controls, investigating security events, discovering detection capabilities and logging sources, and collaborating with software and other Google teams. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, one year of experience in security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling; one year of security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols experience; and one year of coding experience in a general-purpose language.
