Description
Google is hiring a Security Engineer to protect Tensor SoC firmware and software stacks and Pixel smartphones. The role conducts offensive security assessments, penetration testing, threat modeling, architecture and implementation-level security audits, and develops automated testing tools, fuzzers, and exploits. It also partners with hardware, software, and product teams to design mitigations and leads a team of software security engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of relevant security or coding experience, 3 years of technical leadership, and people-management experience; compensation is $207,000–$300,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
