Patreon is hiring a Security Engineer to support its security team across application, infrastructure, and internal/corporate security. The role involves contributing to security projects, responding to vulnerabilities and incidents, participating in on-call rotations, writing security-related code, and collaborating with engineering, legal, and IT partners. It is fully remote for United States candidates or hybrid in New York or San Francisco, with three days per week in the office for eligible candidates. The position requires at least two years of security-risk-reduction experience, deeper expertise in one security domain, software development experience, AI-assisted security work, and a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
