Description
Neptune is hiring a Security Engineer to serve as a technical leader within its Security Operations Center. The role combines security engineering with incident detection, investigation, response, remediation, automation, detection tuning, threat hunting, vulnerability management, compliance support, and SOC operations. The engineer will administer security platforms such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, IAM, DLP, and cloud security solutions; partner with SOC Analysts and other technical teams; provide advanced incident support and mentorship; and improve Neptune’s security posture. The position is based in Duluth, Georgia, or Tallassee, Alabama, with typically less than 10% overnight travel.
