Snap Inc. is hiring a Security Engineer for its Detection and Response team in Sydney. The role combines project work with operational detection engineering and incident response, including building and maintaining security systems, developing automation, conducting threat hunting and digital forensics, analyzing malware, investigating incidents, and participating in red-team exercises. Candidates need strong Python or Go programming skills, experience with BeyondCorp or ZeroTrust, and at least three years of incident response, detection engineering, or related security experience, along with a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The position requires working in the Sydney office at least four days per week.
