Description
Solvd is hiring an Application Security Engineer to serve as the security authority on a greenfield digital news platform built for a major international news brand. The role covers application and platform security across architecture, development, launch, and multi-year support, including threat modeling, authentication and authorization reviews, API and integration security, secrets and token management, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, encryption and secure data handling, logging and incident-response requirements, GDPR and privacy engineering, third-party assessments, and remediation guidance. The position requires at least five years of application security or security engineering experience and knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, API security, secrets management, encryption, and privacy-by-design practices.
