SpaceX is hiring a Security Engineer to design, build, and operate software and infrastructure that protects systems, networks, and data. The role covers authentication and identity services, network access control, backend infrastructure, web application firewalls, cloud security, threat remediation, and secure software delivery. Candidates need a computer science or STEM bachelor's degree or two years of security software development experience, programming experience in languages such as Python, Go, C#, C/C++, or Rust, and experience with enterprise or large-scale infrastructure. The position requires onsite work, extended hours or weekends as needed, and the ability to pass an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
