VAST Data is hiring a Security Engineer to lead offensive security initiatives, conduct penetration tests across APIs, microservices, cloud storage protocols, and distributed architectures, analyze protocol and implementation flaws, and automate security workflows with AI agents. The role also covers cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, SAST/DAST remediation, Jira ticket lifecycle management, and software supply-chain security. Required qualifications include offensive security and pentesting experience, protocol and code analysis, and AI integration; preferred qualifications include scripting, cloud security, application and infrastructure security, and ticket-management experience.
